If Trump wins, it will be for exactly the same reason as Brexit.
The poorer half of society is fed up of having their living standards eroded by low-skilled immigrants.

I take the piss out of Americans for voting for him, but I don't have to scrabble around for a shit wage, in the richest country on Earth.

I hope Trump doesn't win, but if he does, it's nobody's fault, but Obama and Clinton's.
If they'd managed immigration properly, that is, restricting it to people with genuine skills and qualifications, he wouldn't stand a chance.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

Government resources will immediately pour into organising a new branch of government, the American Security Secretariat (ASS), organising snatch squads to round up and, er, 'process' the 11m unregistered immigrants, troublesome Muslims, and other undesirables and radicals that threaten The Great Leap Forward central to the wellbeing of all True Americans.

Sadly, true :sigh:
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

What was it Sir Winston used to say about democracy and the common voter?

I'm raising the hypothesis thhat Congress, being culled from the Establishment that despises Frump, might not work well with him and do all they can to stymie him, even though they are nominally on the same side.
