He's denied everything vigorously via Twitter and never struck me as a kiddy fiddler in that his musical lyrics where always aimed mature and above mature. Will have to wait and see. Could have been stoned back in the seventies and have lost it, not that that is any excuse....but a reasonable explanation for one I wouldn't like to delete from my collection, really. Unlike Cliff Richard.

The charge relates to a two year period, so I doubt if getting stoned is much of an excuse, if it actually happened.
As far as I'm concerned, he's innocent, as he's never been proven guilty.
So is Cliff Richard, isn't he? Apart from crimes against music.

I've heard mention that they are swingers. However that may have been a joke that lost it's punchline and became an urban myth.
