Well, using those words, yes. Death happens to us all. Murder, on the other hand, poses a thornier analysis.

That being said, generally killing is an atrocity that doesn't create, in me, the same visceral reaction. That's probably because we need more details than just X killed Y in order to assign a level of moral blame. There is no real wiggle room, though, in raping an infant. The offense, in my experience, is so vanishingly uncommon that it's level of horror is magnified. It's certainly an emotional reaction on my part.

Rape is clearly not as bad as death/murder since you'd still be living after the rape. Just saying.

Well, my view is that the rapists of infants are far worse than George W. But, this whole thing is just a matter of opinion, so if you think GWB is worse than infant rapists, then that's your mind at work.

Just because you would choose that doesn't mean that a person with a mind that is capable of raping a baby is not somewhat "worse" than a person who could shoot one.
