That flat grip is used in shooting over cars.Făkünamę wrote:It's a gangbanger grip for when you and 10 of your homies are talkin' shit to a dozen bloods. You're bound to hit a couple of 'em. It's also symbolic - the grabbing of your package, raising the gun high, and throwing the bullets at them is symbolic of a large penis in the throws of orgasm. Taunting them while doing it is like, pardon the chauvinism, treating them like bitches. In short, it's a firearm facial.
Yeah, they are that stupid.

I didn't say it was a good technique, but I've seen them use that style in L.A.Făkünamę wrote:

I've never seen a thug do the sideways grip in real life, but I have in rap videos and movies.Gawdzilla Sama wrote:I didn't say it was a good technique, but I've seen them use that style in L.A.Făkünamę wrote:

What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

You don't do it much IRL, it's hell on the wrist. If they go to a range they figure out pretty quickly that there are reasons Mrs. Murphy's son came up with the two-handed grip, accuracy and comfort.Robert_S wrote:I've never seen a thug do the sideways grip in real life, but I have in rap videos and movies.Gawdzilla Sama wrote:I didn't say it was a good technique, but I've seen them use that style in L.A.Făkünamę wrote:

I suspect it got picked up because territorial and power maintenance often involves more posturing than fighting.Gawdzilla Sama wrote:You don't do it much IRL, it's hell on the wrist.
