Christ, just trying to get a cup of coffee or a pastry in Italy is a lesson.

That actually looks very safe and ordered, on the tube in London being pushed by the crowds onto the track is a definite danger

Not about loving being in boxes, crowded cities is the only way 7 billion people can fit on this planet

Train platforms have always terrified me. And I've never even been on a train.
It's possible, but there's no money for it. Hell, most stations aren't even close to meeting basic code for ADA compliance. Cheaper for the city to pay out individual lawsuits than make a city-wide infrastructure overhaul.

I almost always stand by a pillar so I can sort of casually hang on to it, in case anyone around me gets any ideas.

Oddly enough, I've had a subtle phobia about getting pushed into the tracks since I first moved to the city.

But you know, it really doesn't happen that often. It's like how a few people get killed by lightning every year. If it happens twice in one town, people get all freaky about it, but it's still basically chance.

Most schizophrenics don't kill people.

I would have a panic attack. I'm practically having one now-- just looking at this.

The subway in Singapore has this system - the train always stops in the right spot, and the platform doors only open after the train has stopped. Very sensible.

It appears that the woman who pushed him in front of the train, did so because he was Indian. She said she hated Muslims and Hindus. So we can call it a racist crime.

For every human action, there is a rationalisation and a reason. Only sometimes do they coincide.

Religious crime. You don't need to be a particular race to follow either the Hindu or Muslim fuckwittery.
