Yesterday, I was at the pub with EA and we were talking about IQ.
He informed me there's a Korean man with an IQ of 210.
He proceeded to explain how 100 was average and 65 or below was considered retarded. Apparently Einsteins IQ was about 150 so compared this Korean had 60 less points whereas a retard only has 35 less than the average. Compared to this Korean, on paper, Einstein was a dumbass.

IQ is a measure of how good you are at IQ tests, not how good you are at theoretical physics.

Regarding the OP, from what I've heard previously, for quite a while girls have tended to do better in school than boys anyway, so the IQ thing doesn't surprise me. Maybe it says more about what happens (or has been happening) to girls after they finish school.

The IQ test has major limitations.
It has been said, many times, that the only thing IQ measures is the ability to do well in IQ tests.

One of the things Prof. Flynn has said is that IQ reflects an ability to manipulate abstractions. For this reason, a person raised to deal with basic practicalities, like an old time farmer, or an African hunter, will not do well on IQ tests, in spite of being superbly good at what they do. So maybe the new IQ results favouring females simply shows they are now living in a world of fantasy, while it is the men who are down to Earth and practical?

I took the LSAT test twice and did 94-96 on every section except the 'games' section. That section has bizarre spatial relationship questions that require you to quickly assess a layout and answer several questions:

Seven different consecutive time slots are available for advertisements during a commercial break, and are numbered one through seven in the order that they will be aired. Seven different advertisements – B, C, D, F, H, J, and K – must be aired during the show. Only one advertisement can occupy each time slot. What they are testing is pattern recognition, a useful skill when considering how a specific case would fit within the entirety of the law.
