Millwall Football Fans Repel Rioters!

From what I've heard it was Millwall and Charlton supporters. I don't know what's more amazing there, Millwall and Charlton supporters on the same side, or Millwall supporters on the side of law 'n order, still good on 'em.

I've never really bothered with supporting a football team myself, but as it happens I am the son of a Millwall supporter and a Charlton supporter. This has never previously been something I was proud of (not that I was ashamed of it - merely indifferent), but I fucking proud of it right now!

Muslims, Sikhs and the firms taking to the streets to protect their communities; but where are the middle classes?

I think you'll find there are folk in Lewisham and Orpington - and certainly in Bromley who would consider themselves middle class. Not that I consider "middle class" a very useful term given that depending on who's employing it, and for what motive - it seems it can be applied to almost anyone who isn't either living on a slum estate or is the Queen.
