I'm not very militant. No more than I was in the early '70s, anyway.

You might convert some of them muslims from Africa if you proved they can have more sex if the old women quit mutilating the girls lady bits.

You might need to hide the women in a burka for a while, though.

Not just more. Better too... it's amazing how better it is when the lady is in it rather than just laying down and thinking of england.

What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

And here's another one because I remembered it while searching for the one above it.

I don't think I could be less militant. A smarmy, charismatic guy was working the subway this afternoon, practically swaggering along, holding his fliers under people's noses while they ignored him. He saw me and, of course, assumed he had a sale. He spoke English quite well. Big grin. "Ah! Good afternoon! Do you believe in Jesus Christ?" People nearby turned to watch, as he was speaking English loudly. I did a slow blink, mild smile and shook my head. Surprise, as I ignored his flier. "No? You know, people who believe in Jesus Christ will go to heaven." I gave him exactly the same response as the first. Since I refused to engage, he couldn't continue wiyhout being rude, so he just said, "God bless you!" and walked away. I was sitting next to a smoking hot chick, so I gave her a glance and a . She larfed a little.

If I were a militant atheist, then I would advocate death for any backsliding atheist who so much as looked at a church, let alone entered it. :lynchmob:
