Woman charged in child abuse case

On what evidence are the above charges based, I wonder? Could be a case of alarmist and/or false accusation on one or both occasions. I mean, people are accused of child porn when photographing kids happily running around naked at the beach, FFS.

Whatever the circumstances, I hope these women get fair hearings.

I was in L.A. when the Satanists were revealed to be running the McMartin Pre-school. Huge kerfuffle, threaten vigilante actions, public outrage, etc. Eventually everybody was cleared and suits filed against the pshrinks that "found" the children's (false) memories.

The media went fucking crazy. Printed anything they could find, interviewed anybody who could talk. I was sitting in an unmarked car just up the street from there one day and a camera got shoved in my face. "What do you think about what's happening in your neighbor, sir?" I got the camera dude by the shirt front and started pulling him in the car with me. His talking-head started screaming and calling for the cops. They were already standing behind her. The uniforms told her to fuck off and get a life.

That's the worst thing about cases like these ... So ironic when those people who are supposed to be working in the best interests of children are the ones doing the harm to them. And it makes it all the more difficult to be effective when there are genuine cases of abuse.
