The other assholes were jealous of her. I was the victim of bullying by 3 girls, all sisters from a poor white trash family and my parents had a nice house and my dad was just retired from the navy. And like Phoebe, I was new in town and those bitches wanted to show me who was boss. I was in 6th grade and the youngest sister was a Freshman. The problem started on the school bus and just escalated until my sister, who was a senior in high school, started kicking the shit out of her after she pulled my hair and pushed me down when I was getting off the bus at school. The pussy bus driver had not choice but to kick them, and us, off the bus after months of ignoring the bullying.

Yes, I've been there and seen this type of behavior. These girls parents were assholes just like them and I have no doubt that these kids have assholes for parents too. At the very least, they aren't aware of what punks their kids are. And the staff at the school are cowardly pussies and that is why the kids didn't think the bullying was any big deal.

End of rant. This story really got to me.
I know the feeling. It was mostly this one football player who bullied me, and never when any teachers were around. On one occasion, however, I was sitting on the bleachers in gym class. I was right in the front row, easily visible, and there was a boy sitting behind me who kept physically harassing me, flicking my ear and such. It was impossible for the teacher not to see this. Like I said, I was right in the front row. And the teacher was only three feet in front of me addressing the class, and it was a very small class. The kid who was bothering me didn't even try to hide what he was doing. Any idiot could see him molesting me, and any idiot could see me flinching and cringing in pain and annoyance. This went on for a good ten minutes, until finally I'd had enough. I stood up, turned around, looked the (much larger) boy in the eye and yelled at him, "Cut the fucking shit, asshole!"
Do you think the boy who was bullying me got in trouble? Nope. I'm the one who got in trouble for yelling, and for swearing. I was the fucking victim! And the teacher was a useless piece of shit :lay:
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

I'm splitting the god bully discussion to a new thread. I'll post a link when it's done.

I was bullied a lot in middle school because I was a shy nerd who didn't care about being popular. I would also protect the other students who were being bullied, and try and draw the bulling onto myself so the weaker students would be left alone. I was lucky however because I had the librarians, custodians, and the computer teacher looking out for me.
I'm wild just like a rock, a stone, a tree
And I'm free, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I flow, just like a brook, a stream, the rain
And I fly, just like a bird up in the sky
And I'll surely die, just like a flower plucked
And dragged away and thrown away
And then one day it turns to clay
It blows away, it finds a ray, it finds its way
And there it lays until the rain and sun
Then I breathe, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I grow, just like a baby breastfeeding
And it's beautiful, that's life

When I was in grade school I had a classmate, a girl, who was bullied by the other girls.
Some of those girls were the nastiest bitches I've ever had the displeasure of knowing.

The only bright spot, if you can call it that, is that one of those bitches later became a target herself.

Fucking scum.
Agreed. I'd try to teach my kids to not take shit from anybody.

However, I'd also warn them that they better not become bullies themselves cause
I will deal with them as I would deal with any other bully. :pawiz:

The thing that makes me so sad about these cases, is that they don't take place in a vacuum. Undoubtedly, numerous people knew -- other students, teachers, parents -- and actively chose to ignore it. Why? Fear? Laziness? Chalking it up as Somebody Else's Problem?

I would have to believe that the majority of the students at that school aren't the kind of asshole as the bullies. But they give that asshole minority so much power.

A majority are assholes. Knowing and doing nothing makes you worse than those who act on it. Either you're a coward, or you really just don't care.
