Trump trump trump! Socialism is about Trump. Biden is about Trump!

Some estimates say he could lose the popular vote by as many as 5 million votes and still win the Electoral College.

Also, Trump has the advantage of incumbency. Only two incumbent presidents have lost in the last 40 years: George H.W. Bush and Jimmy Carter — and they were facing a recession and a hostage crisis, respectively. All the tools of the presidency are at Trump's disposal, including an early start on fundraising, and he commands the bully pulpit — and dominates news coverage — like no other president.

Quite the troll by Trump on mini mike with his Superbowl add. Black people don't like Bloomberg, one reason was his stop and frisk policies when he was NY mayor.

Since this "drain the swamp" was such a popular theme in2016, Bernie should go all out and attack Biden in the next month or so. He has already been bought by Wall Street and health care. To strengthen his draining forces, recruit Warren as VP. She is anti banks. Pro consumer protection, for crooked lenders and real estate racket.

I'm going to go with Sanders if he is still left on the ballot in May. Biden is Hillary. We need to Drain The Trump.

The swamp message did not really work for me personally, since I tend to look at things in detail and sort out the good and bad. But since it is now popular (again, term goes to about 1900) I wrote a blog entry on it.

I have a feeling Warren and Biden are going to take some punches. Others will move up. Warren will hang in there to New Hampshire.

I gather that technical problems are stuffing up the first day of the Democratic caucuses in Iowa...

An auspicious beginning... :tea:

NYT
What’s next: Two of our reporters in Des Moines noted, “With no hard numbers to reckon with, no cold math to disprove the dream, no fewer than five candidates marched onstage to deliver something resembling a victory speech.”

Background: After a razor-close finish in Iowa between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders in 2016, new standards this year required officials to submit three numbers — rather than one — from each of the state’s 1,600-plus precincts. That change, and a new app, slowed the reporting of results.

Closer look: People who were briefed on the app by the Iowa Democratic Party told The Times that it hadn’t been tested properly. A spokeswoman for the state party denied that the app’s failure had played a role in the delays.

...and you're setting up the narrative to blame the stupid people who fall for it, rather than the smart guys who caused the problem with their app.

The narrative is run by Trump. As is much of politics when the process fails. The Democrats would rather work through the details of the process.
Dumb people: that's too complicated. Just let the president or the judge decide.
Democrats: all your deciders are Republicans!

Have you ever listened to the BradCast Tero? https://bradblog.com/ He's always going on about problems with electronic voting systems. Some of it is truly worrying e.g. hackers routinely demonstrate the vulnerability of these systems.

If you can't build an app that will handle 1600 or so inputs then you're not smart. Probably got them a Certificate in Programmering.

These people couldn't organize a fucking piss-up in a brewery.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.
