The scientific examinations in Germany of the available antibody tests have shown that all of them are not good enough currently. Too many false positives.
Are not these the ones going to be used in the UK and USA?
And what would you need to bring about such a policy when the applied science isn't up to the job?

Sometime in the future, if it is clearly shown that, once recovered, one is immune, then some sort of official card stating that you are immune (or that you've been vaccinated) may be the only way to get entry into a pub or restaurant...

Then there will be the issue of forgeries, I suppose...

The issue of people getting infected on purpose to get the card afterwards. A nightmare

There's a reason El Paso County leads the state in 'Rona deaths. Here, Fox News is a voice of moderation. Remember, the local newspaper employed Seth as guest columnist. :wacky:

It is proving difficult to get the Trumpers to take it seriously. A loon near me wants to stop fed pay if they force a shutdown.

They can't be helped.

That's why I expect to get this thing. Trump carried the county by 22 percentage points in a state he lost by 5.

It's not that all of these people are loons, but enough are to spread this around.

'So Germany Just Accused Us of Piracy'
The city of Berlin had ordered special FFP2 and FFP3 masks that are used to protect emergency staff and care workers from infection with coronavirus. The order was for 200,000 such masks, according to the German newspaper Tagesspiegel. Berlin's interior minister Andreas Geisel confirmed that the consignment had been “confiscated” in Bangkok and never reached Berlin.

“We consider that an act of modern piracy,” he said. “You don't treat your transatlantic partners like that.” The confiscation came to light after the White House tried to force 3M to export masks to the US from its hub in Singapore, as the federal government exerts its powers to secure critical medical supplies and gear needed to prevent the spread of coronavirus and treat infected patients.

Trump has invoked the Defense Production Act, and 3M is a U.S. company. That basically means tough shit for everyone else. That's the way it is.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.
