Really confuzled right now. According to this article:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/davidhalp ... 48386.html

...the Electoral College doesn't convene til Dec 19th to officially cast their votes, and could conceivably--if they so desired--vote for someone else besides Trump.
What the what?? I don't understand. If their votes are not yet officially cast, how can Trump already be Prez-elect? How can any candidate for any presidential election be the official president-elect until the Dec 19th votes re cast
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

Because that's the way it is. He is the President-elect because according to the law the election results show that he has the requisite number of Electoral votes to be elected President by the Electoral College. That the Electoral College actually casts the vote in which he is confirmed as President-elect until Dec 19th is merely a housekeeping issue...usually. It is presumed that the Electors will vote as their state and districts command them to vote based on the vote tally, and in most states the law REQUIRES them to do so. But there are some states that do not have that requirement which results in the possibility of "faithless electors" who refuse to cast their vote according to the vote tally.

Here is a good Snopes article on how the Electoral College works.

He does not actually become President until he takes the oath of office.

Hopefully they have the moral fortitude to tell Trump to fuck off until he bothers to learn and understand his responsibilities. But they're politicians...

problem is that the electoral college system has been subverted by the two party system and they won't have the balls to vote for somebody worhty of being president.

Good luck, America.

We have good luck, you're not an American citizen and therefore we don't give a flying fuck what you think or want.

I mean... WTF?! I thought Bush was stupid, but this guy is below creationist levels of retardation. How much less people who voted for him? I've always tried to avoid labelling Americans as 'dumb', but this makes you think.

This from a resident of a piss-ant little island that's being spanked by the EU over taxation. And I believe Ireland voted not to Brexit if I'm not mistaken. So who's the masochist now?

Bush was retarded and stupid but Trumpcunt is dangerous and stupid.

There is also a constitutional problem regarding his business affairs. He is not through the front door yet also someone might do the right thing. :shifty:
