Mann Cleared by NSF

Michael Mann, the geophysics professor whose "hockey stick" model has been the target of denialist climate cranks for years, most recently in the much-ballyhooed and now apparently going-out-not-with-a-bang-but-a-whimper so-called "Climategate," has been cleared of wrongdoing by the United States National Science Foundation. They said they found "no evidence of research misconduct."

This is, BTW, the third investigation that has cleared Mann; the first was by the Inspector General of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and the second by an international panel of seven scientists based at universities in the US, UK, and Switzerland.

It was denialist climate crank chickenshit. Yes, they really do make shit up and try to get people in trouble with it because they can't handle the truth.
