Cameron's constituency chairman found dead at Glastonbury

senior member of David Cameron's Tory constituency association has been found dead in a toilet at Glastonbury Festival, the BBC understands.

The body of Christopher Shale, chairman of West Oxfordshire Conservative Association, was found at about 0900 BST at the music event in Somerset.

Police cordoned off the hospitality area where his body was found and are investigating the cause of death.

The prime minister is understood to know Mr Shale well.

The visit by the Chinese premier might have influenced the official line? They couldn't find a cause but it usually rains at Glastonbury so maybe they should see if he was struck by a umbrella? :smoke:
