Or another 6 months of "who dat?" and then off to the pages of historical irrelevances........
He's just doing a little humble pie on his side to further impress the public on Camerons arrogant 'change culture' and buy himself time within his own party to organise his campaign. It's called the surrender tactic.Audley Strange wrote:I was listening tonight to him prattle on. It seems in essence that they've decided that some of the things they've done in the past they've recognised are mistakes and are still working very hard in finding other ways of saying that and nothing else, knowing that even not having any substantial policy announcements or general political ideology will compare to the increasing unpopularity of the current coalition.
What with all the U-Turns by the Goverment over its variously pronounced consultations, it really makes me think that none of them have a fucking clue what they are doing or to do.
Interesting times.

I dunno. I'm getting the sense that they're all out of ideas. No sense regrouping and offering up an alternative if you don't have an alternative to offer. All three major parties occupy a very small territory, The only places left to go for them are the ugly extremes and at this point I think most people shudder at the thought of that so we are left with a narrow field of political debate where the differences are nominal and all three major parties exist to fine tune the system. Unfortunately the problem is the boiler's burst and we need janitors and plumbers more than we need the I.T. department.Crumple wrote:He's just doing a little humble pie on his side to further impress the public on Camerons arrogant 'change culture' and buy himself time within his own party to organise his campaign.
