Speaking of "going home", some people wanted the
Missouri in St. Louis. That's one thousand miles from New Orleans. It would require a channel at least 130 feet wide and about 25 feet deep over that distance. And even if we trimmed her down to the armored bits there are at least twenty bridges that would have to come down.
