I was staying with an old shipmate in NYC once and we were on his balcony looking at Central Park when we heard the squeal of tires. We looked over the rail and there was a wrecker on the street below. Two guys jumped out and started a cutting torch. As we watched they cut the chain that was locking a Harley-Davidson to a lampost. Then they hooked the bike up and sped away. Total time, less than two minutes.
