I always knew merkel to be a despicable piece of doo, she just provided definitive proof... Lovely way of going back on her election promises, without even providing for adequate alternatives (sun and wind are not high intensity or reliable enough to plug the hole, and coal is the very reason she promised more nuclear plants back then)
