Similar to a case thats happening in Western Australia as we speak, some douche faked a mayday call from a 'sinking boat', so he could get his jollies off as a volunteer rescuer. $50 000 later in 8 boats, a plane and a helicopter, it was revealed to be a hoax. They are trying to charge him that cost (as well as some jail time I think). The big one is volunteer firefighters though, some of the little turds go and light fires so they have something to fight, nevermind those houses and families put in incredible danger.
