Why do I have to be lying? Maybe I'm just not familiar with the technology Marj.

Pretty much everybody knows about the technology though. Did they ever gave a straight answer when her galaxy-brain leader suggested nuking hurricanes?

Grift and God. Two pillars of prosperity gospel, with a fat lintel of Dominionism. Republicans have great plans for the US.

'State Education Department Seeks Bids for 55,000 Classroom Bibles'
Superintendent Ryan Walters isn’t just talking about buying Bibles for schools.
Bids opened Monday for a contract to supply the state Department of Education with 55,000 Bibles. According to the bid documents, vendors must meet certain specifications: Bibles must be the King James Version; must contain the Old and New Testaments; must include copies of the Pledge of Allegiance, Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights; and must be bound in leather or leather-like material.
A salesperson at Mardel Christian & Education searched, and though they carry 2,900 Bibles, none fit the parameters.
But one Bible fits perfectly: Lee Greenwood’s God Bless the U.S.A. Bible, endorsed by former President Donald Trump and commonly referred to as the Trump Bible. They cost $60 each online, with Trump receiving fees for his endorsement.
Mardel doesn’t carry the God Bless the U.S.A. Bible or another Bible that could meet the specifications, the We The People Bible, which was endorsed by Donald Trump Jr. It sells for $90.
“The RFP on its face seems fair, but with additional scrutiny, we can see there are very few Bibles on the market that would meet these criteria, and all of them have been endorsed by former President Donald Trump,” Oklahoma Appleseed Center for Law and Justice Executive Director Colleen McCarty said.

-Letting menstrual blood sit can develop harmful bacteria so having the ability to change out a receptacle for it reduces risk of infection.
- Having a receptacle for blood means not having to sit in it and have it dry and affix to skin and pubic hair, risking rashes and other skin irritation.
- Without access to clean water for bathing and clean clothes, the blood will accumulate and attract pests if it can't be rinsed or removed. Pests can carry diseases. (2/5)

That's American politics right now. We're all --and especially women and the truth it seems-- expendable in the pursuit of some "higher" agenda.
There's never a time when these guys aren't playing the game. It's maddening.

The 'conservative' majority already laid down a marker on their willingness to put 'free exercise of religion' above separation of church and state. So they only need to carry on with that theme. Religious freedom is really important, you know.Brian Peacock wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 11:18 amSupreme Court readying itself for a new interpretation of the Establishment Clause maybe?

Some old people came to shop at the yard sale. Betwen the two of them they might have some short term memory left. They prpbably have been voting for 60 years. They might not know who Harris is, and do have some vague idea of Trump. But the word REPUBLICAN is next to most candidates (other than school board, judges) so they will vote that.

The face-eating jaguar party says everybody needs to help bringing on the jaguars. AKA the same fucking story--more tax cuts for corporations and fat cats, benefit cuts to anybody else.

'"Have the stomach": Republican claims Dems need to back Social Security and Medicare cuts'
Rep. Richard McCormick (R-GA) told Fox Business that Republicans will desperately need help from Democrats if they intend to cut Social Security and Medicare — both of which are programs Democrats have historically supported.
President-elect Donald Trump has said he intends to extend, and possibly expand, his tax cuts to the wealthy and corporations. The cost of the cuts has been in the trillions, and expanding them would cost the country a little under $5 trillion, experts have calculated.
And, with expensive programs being pursued such as Trump's promised mass deportations, more money will need to be found from somewhere.
One of Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy's top jobs in the new Department of Government Efficiency is to reduce spending. However, big cuts will conflict with Trump's big-ticket items.
The U.S. Treasury Department calculated that the country spent $6.75 trillion in fiscal year 2022. So, Trump's tax cuts and his mass deportation plan will result in adding almost as much as the entire government functioning for a year.
"We're gonna have to have some hard decisions," claimed McCormick during his Fox appearance Tuesday. "We're gonna have to bring in the Democrats to talk about Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare.
"There's hundreds of billions of dollars to be saved, we just have to have the stomach to take those challenges on."

Well yeah, 6.2 percent of wages as an employer's share of the SS tax for 120,000+ US employees is just an unbearable burden for a poor job creator.
