Trump fixer available for Trump pals. You can’t make this shit up:

A top GOP fundraiser and prominent backer of President Trump stepped down from his Republican National Committee post Friday after revelations that Trump lawyer Michael Cohen arranged a $1.6 million settlement with a former Playboy model the donor had impregnated.

Review of Comey's book.

https://mobile.nytimes.com/2018/04/12/b ... yalty.html

Dunno why this passage stuck out most.

Comey is what Saul Bellow called a “first-class noticer.” He notices, for instance, “the soft white pouches under” Trump’s “expressionless blue eyes”; coyly observes that the president’s hands are smaller than his own “but did not seem unusually so”; and points out that he never saw Trump laugh — a sign, Comey suspects, of his “deep insecurity, his inability to be vulnerable or to risk himself by appreciating the humor of others, which, on reflection, is really very sad in a leader, and a little scary in a president.”

"on reflection"? You don't need to reflect on Trump and his traits to know that he is seriously flawed individual. First glance should be more than enough.

Oh, my gosh! I can't believe the crimes these people are up to. Having consensual affairs, getting pregnant, and settling the matter privately? What is this world coming to? Such people cannot be allowed to serve in public office. Next thing you know, people who get divorced and enter into confidential marital settlement agreement where they agree not to disparage each other, reveal infidelities and other issues, etc., in exchange for property distributions and spousal support payments, will think they can hold appointed and elected positions.

I heard someone working for one of the political parties had a child out of wedlock, and thought she could serve after settling the paternity dispute informally. The nerve of her.

Cohen may have a long list of impregnating bid shots. This stuff must not come out! They paid big money to Cohen. FBI rummaging thru all kinds of personal stuff!

Cohen and Russia is now coming out. No Putin on the list. Any pregnant girl friends Putin has simply fall out of windows.

Stormy Daniels Killed In Syrian Airstrike

ADULT film star Stormy Daniels has been reportedly killed last night in a US led airstrike in Syria, WWN can confirm.

The controversial porn actress had apparently travelled to the middle eastern country on Thursday in what friends and family members are saying was an unusual move by the dead 39-year-old.

NPR
A new ABC News/Washington Post poll out this week says that Americans find Comey to be "more believable" than Trump, 48-32 percent, highlighting the White House's need to discredit him.

The Republican National Committee is reportedly preparing a widespread campaign to help, including the launch last week of a website called "LyinComey.com."

Trump to ruin Post Office to punish Amazon:
Amazingly, the policy section alludes to the inability of the USPS to fund retiree health and pension benefit obligations, without stating that it has the impossibly high statutory burden of pre-funding those obligations 75 years out, effectively having to pay today for future workers who have not yet been born.
Amazingly, the policy section alludes to the inability of the USPS to fund retiree health and pension benefit obligations, without stating that it has the impossibly high statutory burden of pre-funding those obligations 75 years out, effectively having to pay today for future workers who have not yet been born. No public agency or private company has any similar burden. It was placed on the Postal Service in the 2006 Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act to deliberately cripple the agency at the behest of UPS and FedEx, its two major competitors on package delivery. There should be no confusion: Without this completely anomalous pre-funding mandate, the USPS would be a money-making operation, regardless of the rise of email.

The party of old white men
The GOP ‘Has Become the Caricature the Left Always Said It Was’

Before Trump, she says, being a conservative meant embracing American exceptionalism, forceful moral leadership of the world, promotion of the free market and “fiscal conservatism, which now is a hoot,” she said. “Conservatism, as opposed to Republicanism—and I think that’s an important distinction—was really about a temperament as much as a substantive list of issues. There was a certain modesty in approaching government … a certain humility about governance and a reliance on the structures of the Constitution to keep central government from getting to be too powerful.”
