Well Cameron has quit, so it sounds like they will be leaving.

I read somewhere it was part of the EU referendum law but it is not. The result is not binding that is in the law. The petition states that a the law be changed so that the criteria should be 60% on a 75% turnout.
The petition, set up by William Oliver Healey, states: “We the undersigned call upon HM government to implement a rule that if the remain or leave vote is less than 60% based on a turnout less than 75%, there should be another referendum.”

good luck getting the 75% turnout, ever...
Maybe that is part of the game to show how stupid referenda are for deciding complicated matters.

he still isn't out yet, or you have news fresher than mine, last I heard, he intended to quit in October... which the rest of Europe did not approve of since he also intended to leave the actual going out manoeuvers to his successor, and now that the referendum is out, everybody else wants it to go as fast as possible.

One can only fervently hope so. Globalism should be dead because the interests of a diversity of people worldwide are not served by globalism they are served by nationalism. Why should some socialist fucks in Belgium have power over anybody else, ever?

That government is best that governs least and the closer the elected officials are to the people they represent the better the governance and the safer the people are.

That's why the US was SUPPOSED to be federalist in nature and the states were to be largely free to run themselves with the federal government being small and weak.

The US needs a Brexit movement of its own, and Texas is the best candidate for beginning the utter repudiation of the existing centralized Progressive federal government. Perhaps a Texit will result in a constitutional amendment to the Commerce Clause, a simple one that will eliminate 90 percent of the federal government in an instant: "Congress shall have the power to arbitrate disputes with respect to commerce between the several states that are brought before Congress by the legislatures of the several states, and no other powers to regulate commerce between the several states whatsoever. The creation of federal agencies relying up on Article 1, Section 8, Clause 3 for their authority to regulate is forbidden and all such existing federal agencies are hereby abolished."

Easy peasy.

US to force UK to remain in EU, fans of Games of Thrones want their series to go on, and, being largely filmed in Northern Ireland, it receives European creation aid funding... without which it might just stop.
