Nobody was mentioning the deep oceans. The ''scientists'' had their ''models'' and they clearly predicted global warming, of scary proportions. And they were talking about global ATMOSPHERIC warming.
Admit it, the models were shite then, they've been wrong for 20 years in a row, and they're still shite now.

Freeze Warning 09.10.14

Freeze warning in effect from midnight Thursday night to 9 am MDT Friday...

Temperatures: 20 to 25 degrees for high valleys near the Continental Divide...25 to 30 degrees for other valleys in western Montana and portions of central Idaho.

A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.

Snow accumulations: up to an inch of snow is expected for Anaconda... Butte...and Georgetown Lake. 1 to 3 inches is expected for MacDonald and Homestake passes. Areas between 4000 to 5000 feet could receive some light accumulations as well.

The California drought has not gone away and it will be cold in the mid US.....that would be weather influenced by a warming Arctic.

Canadian winters are almost 6 degrees F warmer over the last 60 years....( 3.3 F ) as the upper latitudes are warming 3x or more faster than the tropics due to Arctic amplification.
