I thought that happened when they bent over for the Tories in return for little Nick being allowed to arrange the digestive biscuits on the ministerial tea-tray.

Is it just further evidence of what a talentless non-entity Clegg is.

This time, it's probably not all his fault, although the apology thing is.
If he had half a brain, he would only have said ''apologise or else'' if he had a firm deal that the guy WAS going to apologise.
To insist on it, and then not get it, has made him look a bigger fool than ever.
But the handling of it goes back years, so it's not all Clegg's fault. It's a committee cock-up, which sums up the Lib Dems perfectly.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

the women should either take rennard to court and see if they can secure a conviction, or shut the fuck up.

what they're actually talking about is the kind of off-hand groping that was par for the course in years gone by, or even accidental bumping against the odd breast. men have, for the most part, come to accept that that kind of casual sexism is unacceptable and have stopped doing it.

Rennard has hired lawyers. This could get messy, hopefully.

But really ... I find it hard to get worked up about this. The Lib Dems to tend to have that effect on you. :hehe:
