The reactions to this have been, to me fascinating. Even the comments in the Lefty Mail underneath both those articles display something curious.

Does this thing damage the credibility of Feminists or just Femen or does it not? Certainly they've been motivated and active and while I neither agree with their tactics or strategy, at least they're not just a twitter inquisition. Does it evince the learned helplessness of young women in Ukrainian culture or expose deep resentment in some quarters about men in the movement?

"we got taken over because we didn't know how to fight it"? from the Femen that seems incredibly dicey... cutting all ties, social or other to the guy and using the media to destroy his image (if any) would be well within their competence... meaning the innuendo in the first article might have more truth than the face of it might lead one to credit it with.
