Nope, I put my trust in a higher authority.Svartalf wrote:Then write your Rep/MP
I got a standard acknowledgement in my head, saying " thank you for contacting the almighty, your prayer is important to us, the Lord is busy right now, but you are in a queue, and you will recieve a reply, just as soon as the Lord becomes free ".
Sorted.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

What kind of 19th century title is that? How many people actually know what a 'score' is off the top of their head? At first read it could be read as some sort of sports story headline.

Though you hardly ever see "score" as meaning twenty, "scores" to mean many isn't unusual at all. Or am I just being anachronistic?Făkünamę wrote:What kind of 19th century title is that? A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

"Scores" means more than dozens and less than hundreds, so I'd say twenties is still the common meaning.Tyrannical wrote:Though you hardly ever see "score" as meaning twenty, "scores" to mean many isn't unusual at all.
