America and Eagles, both sell ripoff tickets for babyboomer concerts. But I would only go to the Eagles if the situation came up.

Although I think I "should" like the Eagles, I have to admit, I don't really enjoy listening to most of their music. Even the seminal "Hotel California" makes me change the radio station. And, Take it Easy is played so much on the radio it makes me nauseous, and the lyrics are stupid. "It's a girl my Lord, in a flat bed Ford, slowin' down to take a look at me?" And, don't even get me started on Desperado....

The only guy from the band that I like is Joe Walsh, and he has about two good songs, mostly cool because they make fun of himself and rock n roll in general.

The years of solo albums by Don Henley and Glen Frey were no picnic either.
