Toxic chemicals

Post by Tero » Fri Nov 30, 2012 4:32 pm

The liberal anti business media is always covering the toxic ones.

Why can't a train carrying nutrasweet or splenda fall off a collapsing bridge and make the news?

Chemical prejudice! As a collection of chemicals, I resent that.

Sometimes they do. I've never gotten over the horrible sight of this:

It was VC from which we make PVC:

The Department of Environmental Protection says the car leaked vinyl
chloride as a gas and all of it has since dissipated.

The chemical can cause nausea and breathing problems.

Several tanker cars derailed in the accident Friday morning on a rail
bridge in Paulsboro and toppled into a creek. Part of the bridge has
buckled but the full extent of the damage is not yet known.

Officials at Underwood-Memorial Hospital say 11 people have been
transported with complaints related to the derailment and five more
arrived on their own. The hospital's communication's office says all
are believed to have complained of having respiratory problems.

Why can't they just make harmless PVC of the vinyl chloride? At the
place where it is made?

Toluene is my favourite toxic chemical. It's a shame to waste.
