So, I got curious what had happened in the locale that had given rise to one of the most questionable SCOTUS decisions of the last decade or two.

Anybody have better info on the matter?


After all the hoopla, the thing did not happen, looks like the people who got expropriated might have motive to sue the city for their places back, reconstruction of their homes, and infliction of grievous mental cruelty...
