I predict utter chaos and total destruction in Athens the last week of June, stocks of retsina will vanish, girls' virtues will be plundered, the Parthenon and Erechtheion will be moved to my garden...

I predict a liberal oiling followed by wrestling closely followed by wrestling of the second kind.

I also predict Svartalf does not have a garden.

I predict an invasion of Turkey, nothing like a broke country invading one with vastly superior forces to distract the populace about being broke
Unlikely... Nobody in the gummint is that crazy, they'd get their rears handed to them if they invaded Turkey... Armed forces in Greece are comparable to Turkish in numbers, but if they are stupid enough to give the Turks the home ground advantage and to burder themselves with the logistic of it, they are gonna lose bad... plus, given that there is a large Turkish lobby in Germany, and that we have a milksop for a president, the Greeks would find themselves hung out to dry.
Now is not the time to think about liberating Constantinople from the Muslims. Maybe someday though :{D
What's scary is that I'm starting to find your comments refreshingly optimistic compared to dismal reality.

I'd be happy if she'd state that she has no more territorial ambitions than Europe.

What's the problem? Didn't every invest heavily in gold? Times are good.

Maybe Greece will fracture back into the city states. Sparta will be reborn and the city can have a big sign on the motorway reading "This Is Sparta".
