Neither do I... I do share a lot of the officially touted values of one side... but that side still manages to promote complete asshats who either are corrupt, nasty or otherwise thoroughly despicable excuses for hominids, or to push such policies that simple self preservation still drove me away... but since the other side tends to have its own set of asshats and intolerable policies, so I really don't even want to vote.

Are we talking about voting in the U.S., still, or about voting in France?

He voted for USAPATRIOT. He voted for TARP. He co-drafted the NDAA provision legalizing indefinite detention of American citizens without trial. He's the ultimate big government Republican.

I was referring to his military record. Most Democrats voted for USAPATRIOT, too. Most everyone voted for TARP too, and the indefinite detentions. If voting no on those issues is what you need in a candidate then you have few options. Ron Paul, maybe.
