They are environmentally safe as long as idiots don't shoot them, and the wildlife don't mind them.
Except when they leak and greedy bastard oil companies don't wanna pay to fix 'em.

Like in Alaska. And Louisiana. And the North Sea. And the Gulf of Mexico. And Alberta. And Michigan. And San Francisco. And the Yellowstone River. And Basra. And...
And yet they DO pay to fix them, all of them.
So tell me, how did they "fix" the oiled ducks in the Yellowstone River?

Just askin'.

The EPA puts a specific dollar value on all wildlife killed by an oil spill, and the company pays. The proceeds go towards habitat and species restoration.

Lie. Exxon has never paid for the fishermen who lost their boats after the Exxon Valdez spill.

Liar.
Insult. I win.

Meanwhile,
More than 440 plaintiffs have died waiting for a final settlement. About 50 have filed bankruptcy. And 4,200 liens have been filed by creditors, including the Internal Revenue Service and the state.

Five years ago in a class-action lawsuit brought by fishermen, Natives and others, a federal jury returned a $5 billion verdict against Exxon. But the case remains tied up in court. None of the 35,000 plaintiffs have been paid, and many are due $1 million or more.
Source.

You lied again, Seth. And got caught again. And are whining about someone else lying when it's you. And are using insults to try to hide from it.

Blame the courts for that, not Exxon. When their liability is settled, they will pay.

Lie. They didn't pay, they delayed until the plaintiffs died. Four hundred of them. Says so right there.

Liar. Exxon doesn't control the dockets for the federal or state courts. They have a right to due process and are taking advantage of that right according to the law.
