Bands/musicians similar to Santana?

Post by PairOfFeet » Wed Mar 10, 2010 6:01 am

I really enjoyed Santana's first 3 albums(Santana, Abraxas & Santana III) but can't seem to find anything similar. Do any of you have any suggestions?
An Arabian guy at the aeroport:
- Name?
- Ahmed al-Rhazib.
- Sex?
- Three to five times a week.
- No, no… I mean male or female?
- Male, female, sometimes camel.
- Holy cow!
- Yes, cow, sheep, animals in general.
- But isn’t that hostile?
- Horse style, doggy style, any style!
- Oh dear!
- No, no! Deer run too fast.

The video you posted sounds real nice. I'll definitely have to look into them more.

Thanks.

I don't think there's anybody like Santana :dono:
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

There are plenty of bands with that latin rock/latin jazz thing but none I can think of with a guitarist like Santana on board. You might like Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Patrick Moraz or (far more jazz) Paquito D'Rivera.
