Not sure how old you are, Ele, so you may have missed their big radio and MTV hit "Take On Me." That was their one big hit over here, and then they faded into obscurity. A couple years later, a friend of mine mentioned them to me and said he was really into them. And I was like, "What? You've gotta be fucking kidding me. They're kinda gay, don't you think?" But when I gave them a listen, I found that they were astonishingly good, and "Take On Me" was fairly atypical of their output as a whole.
By the way, yeah, they are a little gay. But I still like them
