I don't want to see just Metallica, I want to see them with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra and Michael Kamon. Unfortunately he's dead so that won't happen

Has anyone seen the stuff Kamon did with Eric Clapton? Was it any good?

A few bands I MUST see before I die:

Manowar

Iron Maiden

Ozzy Osbourne

Bands I'd love to see:

Alice Cooper

Judas Priest

In Flames

Savatage (sadly won't happen)

After that, anything else is just great too. I don't see enough concerts, despite playing about 3 a month.

I just bought tickets to see Dave Matthews Band this August. This will be my 2nd time seeing them.
I got to see Fleetwood Mac last Tuesday.
I'm thinking about going to see U2 in NYC in September. Maybe - it's a long trip from my house.

Metallica are playing in Marley Park in Dublin this year along with Alice in Chains, Mastodon, Avenged Sevenfold, Thin Lizzy? Lamb of God (whoever they are) and eh.. The Sword.

I'm going anyway. There's at least 3 bands there that don't suck (2 if Metallica only play new stuff).

I saw U2 in 1987. That makes me either very old, or very very dead.

Lamb of God give one of the best live shows. Enjoy the "wall of death"!

You think age is a factor for me?

Edit: ...well, obviously I have a minimum of 16 years old.

Wouldn't BAA have been a lot younger also in 1987?

-2 years old... in human years, anyway, but I do transcend time and space.

And THAT'S why I want to go to a Lamb of God concert.
