Actually I have seen them live, but only as a support band for REM, and I got there late (long story) and missed almost all of their performance. :(
Although it may look like a forum, this site is actually a crowd-sourced science project modelling the slow but inexorable heat death of the universe.

Kill yourself.
I saw U2 in 1987. That makes me either very old, or very very dead.
Neither of the above. Still young and very very much alive!

(My gf dragged me along to a U2 gig at Slane Castle, near Dublin, a few years ago. it was OK, I guess. :dono: )

Saw the Rolling Stones in Slane in '07. Best gig ever.

Want to see Bob Dylan live, other than that, thinking about going to Oxygen this year, the line-up looks fairly good.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

Saw Dylan last year at the M.E.N...the guy's completely past it, now, sadly. Very disappointing.

I've always wanted to see my oldest son's band play. But he's always too embarrassed to have his mother and I at his gigs. In fact, I only heard tracks from his band yesterday after he posted them on MySpace. Not like what I remember from when he lived at home...
