I used to have a hard time explaining to young folks why the Beatles were significant. I didn't know any English at the time, but I had several favorites among the handful of singles I had at age 12. I almost learned to sort of sing the syllables of I Should Have Known Better, to hum along with the record. Everything else on the Finnish radio was classical, talk radio and even the church on Sunday morning, organs playing. And this song, Finnish version, summarized everything before the Beatles. Though they did play songs in English, as long as it was easy listening, not even Elvis.
