Kites original

Kites in Finnish, big hit for Kirka

The Finnish lyrics of pop songs of the 60s and 70s all came from 3 lyricists. Kites was a really good job. It was done by Pertti. He would do whatever was asked, so he was the first to translate Blowing in the Wind.

he would even do swing era songs when they were revived. Jeepers Creepers in Finnish. That would qualify as cheesy.

Said Daemon, who's sorry too, but y'see we didn't have no choice

I vaguely remember stoned conversations where we searched for mystical meaning in those lyrics...
Nurse, where the fuck's my cardigan?
And my gin!
