Two jazz guitarists meet in a bar, and one says, “Yeah man, I bought your last album, it was awesome!” to which the other replies, “Oh so that was you!”.

Said Daemon, who's sorry too, but y'see we didn't have no choice

Two Jazz guitarists meet in a bar, and one says, "Hey man, how's it going? I haven't seen you for years. What you been up to?"
"I've been really busy. A few years back I got the gig with Adele. Money for old rope really"
"Really? I never heard about that."
"Yeah, then I made four albums for Blue Note."
"Four? Pretty awesome. I didn't know about that."
"Yeah, two of them were nominated for Grammy's and one of them got best Jazz album of the year."
"Best album of the year. That's something special. I hadn't heard about that either."
"Yeah, it was pretty special. And I've been doing a lot of session work for guys like Nile Rogers and Quincy Jones, and filling in all Keith Richards parts on the new Stones CD and giving lesson to Steve Vai. Christ I'm earning money faster than I can spend it!"
"Wow. That sounds amazing. Nobody tells me anything. I never knew you had that kind thing going on."
"Oh yeah. Well, coz I'm so busy in the studio I don't get to play out as much as I'd like. I took this little jazz club gig last week for a singer-songwriter over on the East side. Nice bunch of people, but the material? Oh man it was rotten. I didn't play that well at all on the night."
"Yeah, I heard about that."
