Pink Floyd Discovery Edition

Expensive duplication of the latest best sounding editions of the classic discography. Can recommend.

Pink Floyd are true masters of making you buy the same stuff over and over again. Did you hear what Waters was up to last week?

Echoing Russian propaganda, Pink Floyd's co-founder Roger Waters says Syria's White Helmets are 'fake organisation'

Idiot.

Don't know what is happening in the Middle East. Full on fog of war phase, so he's entitled to his stance. Anyone disagrees better have a valid take of their own that makes more or truer sense. (or is that pounds, shillings and pence?)

Roger suffers from self-esteem issues - he thinks he's much more important than he actually is. I wanted to see the Us+Them tour but didn't want to listen to his political bullshit.

I'd puke-tired of politics. I paid to hear your music so just fucking play it and STFU.

That's my stance. More or less. Being a fine wordsmith like he is...I listen to him talking for a short while, in case he's a good quip. He's Morrissey with a slightly larger vocab range.

I've got Relics/Echoes on mp3, wanna upgrade to CD/Flac. Then 'Live at Pompei' and I'm done with Floyd.

I had Live At Pompeii on one of those old 12 inch video disks. Great stuff.

Don't bother with CD or FLAC, go vinyl! You'll be a man with retro style.

I bought the LPs (everything before The Wall), then I bought the CDs (ditto). I'm done keeping them guys in BMWs.

I bought the early years 2CD sampler so I could hear the live Atom Heart Mother. It was OK.

Vinyl is a absolute scam for nostalgia buffs. If I want scratch and wobble I'll play that on a mp3 loop with a seperate rig.

This thread is triggering me... triggering a Pink Floyd binge. Starting with Meddle now, the one with Echoes on the B side. Goes really well with George Greenough's Crystal Voyager. Pink Floyd and Greenough waived royalty payments for each other. Greenough was permitted to use Echoes as the backdrop to his tubes in exchange for permitting Pink Floyd to use his tubes as backdrop for the same track at concerts.

I have another six Floyd CDs plus Live at Pompeii on DVD, so this might take some time. Sure the neighbours won't mind. :pbjt:
