Anna-Maria Hefele is a German singer who has taken the principles of vocal resonance to some extraordinary places.

Keith Emerson had time to work with two major groups. All in all I like the Nice pieces best. There was a singer of sorts in the band, a good bass player, but all that was unnecessary.

I've enjoyed the explosive ambient introspections of This Will Destroy You since I was illegally downloading from underground blogs you had to check by the hour before their links were removed. Then, while looking to find some 'relaxing' music to work too, I came across this animated accompaniment to their eponymous album of 2005.

Give it 10 minutes and you'll give it the hour.

There's no obligation on you to enjoy it, just as there's no obligation on me to entertain you. :tea:

It's good. I walked the dog to it last night. When I got home I realized it's also a video. :hehe:

Kottke's complex rhythms. It's in there, the added bass and drums just kind of hide it. No um chick, um chick, um chick strumming here.

I just find something irrepressibly joyful about this band of hobos: Tube Skinny, at the Abita Springs Opry, June 2017.

Today I discovered the wonderful, dynamic and brilliant Paraguayan guitarist Berta Rojas who has built her career on revealing the depth and richness of the Latin American classical guitar tradition. Here she is playing Barrios' last song...

 I wonder how many hours she's spent playing pieces like that to herself? It would be very addicting. I love fingerstyle, it feels so much better to me than a pick. --maybe this will change with time :dunno:
