I just learned of this:

"A philosopher is a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat that isn't there. A theologian is the man who finds it." ~ H. L. Mencken

"We ain't a sharp species. We kill each other over arguments about what happens when you die, then fail to see the fucking irony in that."

"It is useless for the sheep to pass resolutions in favor of vegetarianism while the wolf remains of a different opinion."

I read somewhere along the way that the video was only discovered in 2006. :bong:

Bella, the guitar looks just like the one George Harrison had to play for years, there was an import embargo. The George model was Czech. He finally managed a Gibson in 1961. American guitars were hard to find, thus we see Paul playing the German violin bass.

"Larry's not with us anymore" in the Sheik Yerbouti album refers to this Larry. Larry passed on. But what he was doing in the 80s, maybe he moved on from Zappa? Don't know. Wait, it was right in Wiki:
Zappa and Fischer remained close until Fischer threw a jar at Zappa's daughter Moon Unit Zappa, barely missing her.[2]

I got booed on a Beatles forum for pointing out that Camarillo Brillo was as good with lyrics as Norwegian Wood. Both describe a sort of woman encounter of John or Zappa. The album version is a good arrangement too.

I'm willing to bet it is way, way better :coffee:

Have not played guitar much, just noodling every year. So I loked up Youtube lessons and there were none for Dirty Love, that has a tricky but playable main riff. It's the second part here

Yeah, I was not going to play any part of Zomby Woof. Dirty Love is more of a song, regular. Here is the literary analysis of it:

Listened to this today for the first time in years. I heard it back in 72 and realised then that the man was a genius.
