Re: The Frank Zappa thread
Thought I had pretty much everything the wonderful musician that he is had produced, but stumbled on this from 1973. It is long and a bit 'prog rock' but it contains one of his best guitar solos in my estimation. Hair on the back of the neck stuff - for me anyway. Patience required but worth every minute.

Re: The Frank Zappa thread
Rollo was a longish piece that never had a proper studio recording. It got partly absorbed into St Alphonzo's Breakfast

Said Peter...what you're requesting just isn't my bag
Said Daemon, who's sorry too, but y'see we didn't have no choice
And our hands they are many and we'd be of one voice
We've come all the way from Wigan to get up and state
Our case for survival before it's too late

Re: The Frank Zappa thread
It is not too expensive and a couple of the choral songs are sung well. Two classical pieces are new. Lacks Volman and Kaylan and thus, humor.

Re: The Frank Zappa thread
Not planning to replace all my Zappa CDs, but got the 2012 versions of Hot Rats and Chunga's Revenge. These resemble the old LPs I had better than the 1987 CD releases, used up till 2012. Those were on Ryko. If you noted oddities, might be a fix. The label of the 2012 says Zappa records.

I thought I had heard all of Zappa's output, but not this.
Perhaps for fans only - and guitar geeks?
