It is the Hot Rats 50th anniversary coming up. There are hints of a possible release. But those that were around to record it do not remember recrding more stuff.

The ZFT while Gail was alive did stupid stuff, so it is not the records that fail to make income, they are still paying off this:
In the Gail Sloatman tradition, just sue everyone until you're millions of dollars in debt.
In the Joe 'Vaultmeister' Travers and Ahmet tradition... let's release everything. Keep up the great work Joe and Ahmet!!!

Seems to be 6 discs or nothing. Depending on how much it sells, possible 2CD later. Or two vinyl discs.

It's the only way to get the Belushi part in there. Plus you can sort of see them"play." With the modern rap stars appearing, there are not even any musicians on stage!
