One form of this ad inspired Zappa to write some lines in St Alphonso's Pancake Breakfast...stole the margarine etc

The Road to Little Dribbling: Bryson visits tea shops, coffee shops and various trails and gardens in England.

Visiting shops in Totnes in South Devon: "there was a little more in the way of New Age crystals and that kind of thing than I personally require. "
Then on next page: "there is a limit to how much I will pay for shampoo, even for someone who has given me children."

It's British, you see, but not in any Monty Python John Cleese ranting kind of way. Enjoy.

I haven't heard this version of Waka Jawaka until today. Was a fabulous rendition of what I think of as one of Zappa's masterpieces - live too.

Just listened to it again. The middle section falls into chaos (harmonic chaos - all within a semi-tone..ish) and hangs together by a thread and then gradually pulls back together. Whoever did the arrangement knew how Zappa thought and emphasised it. Brilliant stuff. Soppy old me with the hairs on my neck on end listening to it. A real treat!
