Post by Deep Sea Isopod » Tue Sep 29, 2009 8:18 pm

Yes, I am a fan of Lily Allen.

Anyway....

This is the Capital Childrens Chior singing "Chinese" from Lily's album "It's not me it's You"

I like anything from Lily. Image
Some have likened her to Amy Wino... :banghead:
Others claim she only made it big because of her dad..... Kieth Allen. yeah, right. She's a bigger name than he is!!!!

Is she dead? I've never understood doing tributes to people who are still quite alive, and reasonably young.

There are tribute acts from ABBA to the Wurzels. Most of which aren't dead. :td:

I love Lily because she doesn't inexplicably lose her charming English accent when she sings. Like most other English singers seem to
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

At least that London/Estuary(?) accent starts to sound nice when used in song... Singing with any other British accent turns it into "folk" music.
