The two year old article wasn't. As satire I rate it 0/10. You did ask for comments. I now gave you two.

there will be a new release in summer, probably remixed from 8 plus tracks, with just two songs added.

Said Peter...what you're requesting just isn't my bag
Said Daemon, who's sorry too, but y'see we didn't have no choice
And our hands they are many and we'd be of one voice
We've come all the way from Wigan to get up and state
Our case for survival before it's too late

Turn stone to bread, said Daemon Duncetan
Turn stone to bread right away...

Sgt Papers track with nearly final drums and vocal but sloppy instruments. You have to download it to play it.

the second track is backing no vocals

The song is in the key of D and begins with a I–I6-IV–V7–I-I6–IV–V7–I chord progression: thus "You know" involves F♯–D♯ melody notes against a I (D chord). A point of interest is the raised A melody note against a D/F♯ chord on "name", "three" and "name".[6] A significant moment is the substitution of a ♯ivo chord (G♯dim) for the more standard II7 as part of the progression to V7 (A7 chord on "You know my name") and I (D chord after "number") that closes the verse.[7] The song is also notable for use of the 5th chord tone on the VII chord to produce extra dissonance.

100% verifiable facts or your money back. Anti-fascist. Enemy of woo - theistic or otherwise. Cloth is not an antiviral. Imagination and fantasy is no substitute for tangible reality. Wishing doesn't make it real.

Just watched How the Beatles Changed the World on Netflix :smoke:
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

They did change the world (before Ani comes along and rubbishes them!) - of that I am sure. I listened to Abbey Road in the car earlier today for the first time in a few years. What utterly wonderful talent. Will search for it on Netflix later this evening!

As an aside I have re-evaluated the Lennon/McCartney partnership of late, for what it is worth, and though it was required both of them to create what was so special about their songs together (even though they often wrote large parts of them apart), I think McCartney, much though I tended to dismiss him as a bit 'straight' and lacking a spark Lennon had, in fact I think he had the greater musical talent. Lennon had talent course but his cheeky desire to shock and experiment took him a long way too.

All getting to be ancient history now of course.

Interesting that you should say this. Watch this documentary for some surprising information!
