I've been listening to Kyle Eastwood's 'Metropolitain'

Lovely album. Really nice compositional style, strong nod to french jazz.

It seems Clint's little boy is a talented git!

LOVE this stuff! (Mae, I adore Pat Metheny- as falls Witchita...), I mainly listened to the funky later stuff such as Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, George Duke, Al di Meola etc which leads into the Hendrix/Zappa/ king Crimson psychedelic prog rock thing) but I love love love the ol' blues more than any other music alive :)

If you can find it, the album Scorched, that he recorded with British, avant-garde composer, Mark Anthony Turnage, is awesome. Turnage is one of very few "classical" composers that really understands (and obviously loves) jazz.
