I kind of like his Cookie Monster vocal Better than Laiho's in the first post. But Roope, black guitar in first post, is my top metal guitarist.

I went to see Opeth a few years back with a well intentioned friend, laughed my ass off, I love the transition from harmonic prog to "wooorrrrgh woooooooooorrrrrgh!!!" They kept the joke going a lot longer than necessary, but now I hear they've abandoned the "wooooorrrrgh" shenanigans which is apparently to their detriment, personally I don't see how, they seemed like talented musicians, pity really.

Yes, we need some more proggy bands, even if they have to put some metal into it to sell to the crowds. The only Opeth album I have is the proggy one.
